After the success of my ‘Baby classes in Cheltenham and Gloucester‘ article, I thought I’d get started with some new posts helping families to find activities here in Gloucestershire. So I’ll start first with baby groups in Gloucester; I hope you find it useful. If you spot any inaccuracies or would like to add a group, please let me know.

A free group for non-mobile babies only (unfortunately no older siblings allowed) and one adult. Bring your own blanket and toys if possible.

A friendly group for parents and carers to meet friends while their little ones have fun with lots of singing, stories, fun activities, with a bouncy castle and soft play. There’s also an outdoor play area with mini golf and various activities each week.

Redwell Rompers Baby and Toddler Group Facebook Group
Home-Start, Linden
A free postnatal support group for mums and dad with babies aged 0-6 months which runs in six week blocks. Sessions focus on up-to-date advice on topics such as teething, first aid, baby massage with lots of information to take home.
Days: Term-time Wednesdays 10.30-12pm

Podsmead
GCA Little Gems, Podsmead
GCA Little Gems run baby, toddler and preschool soft play fun sessions from a fully equipped cheerleading academy which has a full size sprung floor giving children the space to run freely in safe bouncy environment. There are plenty of toys and soft play equipment to keep children happy.
Days: Wednesdays 10am-12pm, Thursdays 12-2pm

The Barn Owl, Kingsway
The Barn Owl in Kingsway has a parent and baby/toddler morning every Tuesday at 9am-11am. There’s free entry with bar snacks, cake and drinks available to purchase as well as toys for the kids. It runs through the summer.
