Wow, I had such a great time with all my confetti field photoshoots at The Real Flower Confetti Company’s Confetti Fields this year! Each year their stunning flower fields open for just ten days in the summer right before their flowers are ready to harvest and be turned into glorious shades of confetti.
It has become a bit of an annual tradition for me to head there and create gorgeous summer memories for my lovely clients! It’s just such a beautiful venue and there’s so many different photo opportunities! (Although I am on a good streak of not getting rained on when I’ve been there so I feel like that luck will run out soon!)
I tend to do a mixture of normal outdoor sessions while I’m there as well as offering mini confetti field photoshoots too. This means during my day at the fields, I’ve got plenty of availability for different families who’d love a few photos amongst the flowers, whilst also having the flexibility to spend longer with families who want more photos there, are bringing along lots of people to photograph or perhaps have needs that mean they’d benefit from us taking things a bit slower during the session.
The twenty minute format of the mini sessions this year meant they worked really well; we were able to get different photos amongst all of the different varieties of flowers, without feeling like we were rushing to fit everything in. Most families came away with a gallery of at least 15-25 photos to choose from their confetti fields photoshoot! Of course, there’s always the option to upgrade from the included package – and a fair few took advantage of that opportunity!
Before the day, clients are given advice on what to wear and what to bring to get the best out of their session.
And then it’s just a case of capturing some gorgeous family moments together! We took simple family portraits, as well as some more natural and fun ones too!
If you fancy having something like this for your family next year, then get in touch so we can make a plan! Although we can’t confirm dates until the spring when the fields have confirmed their opening period for 2025, we can most certainly get something pencilled in for the summertime. Or if you fancy just keeping atop of all the news and dates of where I’ll be and when, then my mailing list is the place for you!
